One ♀ syntype with labels: “? Daube Serville” [handwritten on white paper]; “ Scaphura fasciata Br. ” [handwritten on green paper]; “Gymnocera fasciata Br. ” [handwritten on white card with printed black margin]; “ TYPE BRUNN ” [printed on a strip of white paper]; “ Geneva ” [typewritten on a strip of yellow paper]; “ Syntypus ” [printed on red paper]. The species name label in the insect box has the locality “ Brésil ” written in the lower left corner. Specimen set with wings spread; both antennae and both hind legs are missing. Box B 24 .
