Celebesia acuticerca Bolívar, 1917: 640 (holotype – male: Sulawesi: Minahasa Peninsula; in Museo Nacional de Ciencias Naturales, Madrid); Willemse, 1921: 27, 42; Willemse, 1931: 262, fig. 110; Ramme, 1941: 201, Pl. 12, fig. 6a; Willemse, 1957: 419, fig. 63; Monk & Butlin, 1990: 33; Otte, 1995: 290.

Measurements. Male: body 19; pronotum 4.8; tegmen 11.5; hind femur 10 mm. Distribution. Indonesia: Sulawesi Island.

Notes. Female unknown. Originally, this species was described from the unknown locality in Minahasa Peninsula, North Sulawesi ( Bolívar, 1917) but later it was recorded from Tolitoli ( Willemse, 1957).
