Measurements. Male (n=4): BL 20.03±0.70, HL 2.22±0.18, PL 2.94±0.28, PW 4.79±0.17, FWL 15.45±0.67, FWW 9.30±0.19, MTL 6.86±0.31, HFL 12.86±0.52; female (n=2): BL 17.42±0.37, HL 2.34±0.07, PL 3.04±0.11, PW 3.97±0.02, FWL 13.01±0.10, MTL 6.06±0.03, OL 7.88±0.26.

Diagnosis. Male. Compared with G. furvus more pubescent. Pronotum thick, with anterior margin not much narrower than the posterior. Tegmen very broad; oblique veins numbering from five to seven. Epiphallic lateral lobe elongate and somewhat straight at bottom in lateral view; dorsal margin of epiphallic lateral lobe nearly without denticle ( Fig. 3D ); caudal view, top portion of ectoparamere triangle-like and pointed round apically ( Fig. 3H ).

Female. Dorsal valve of ovipositor armed with sharp tooth, and the ventral valve elongate and possessing a lateral tooth ( Fig. 4B ).

Calling song. Singing slow, about four echemes in a second, and duration (0.109±0.007) and interval (0.268±0.019) are long. Songs somewhat lower, peak frequency is about 3180 Hz. There are seven homophonics in each echeme (some portion of songs might miss in Fig. 5B after noise editing).

Distribution. Guangxi (Dayaoshan), Guangdong (Heishiding).
