Type material. Holotype: male ( IZCAS), Duimian Cave , Longcheng Village , Longcheng Town, Puding County [26°18´N, 105°44´E], Anshun, Guizhou, China, 22 June 2010, H. Chen leg. GoogleMaps Paratypes: 6 females, same data as holotype GoogleMaps .

Etymology. The specific name is from Latin word, “rudicula”, meaning “spatula”, and refers to the spatulashaped median apophysis in the male; adjective.

Diagnosis. This new species can be distinguished from all other species in the genus by the spatula-shaped median apophysis in the male ( Figs 49B, 52D); and the distinct shape of spermathecae in the female ( Figs 50C, 52B).

Description. Male (holotype): total length 1.87 ( Fig. 49A). Prosoma 0.87 long, 0.75 wide. Opisthosoma 1.12 long, 0.75 wide. Sternum 0.65 long, 0.50 wide. Prosoma yellowish, with a pair of setae prolateral of PLE. Median groove needle-shaped, brown. Cervical grooves and radial furrow distinct, brown. Eyes six, ALE and PLE reduced to white spot, PME absent. Clypeus 0.12 high, slightly sloped anteriorly. Chelicera ( Fig. 52C) brown, with eight promarginal cheliceral teeth and five small retromarginal teeth. Endites and labium brown. Sternum and legs yellow. Leg measurements: I 8.70 (2.50, 0.30, 2.50, 2.00, 1.40); II 7.50 (2.20, 0.30, 2.20, 1.60, 1.20); III 6.15 (1.80, 0.25, 1.80, 1.40, 0.90); IV 7.90 (2.30, 0.30, 2.25, 1.80, 1.25). Leg formula: I-IV-II-III. Femur I IV with two long spines dorsally (position 0.3 and 0.6). Male palp ( Figs 49C–D, 51A–B): tibia with three trichobothria dorsally, five long setae prolaterally and five spines retrolaterally, with the basal one longest; middle part of tarsus with an earlobe-shaped process; tarsus with two long spines and one thorny spine distally. Tip of the bulb ( Figs 49B, 52D): median apophysis spatula-shaped, conductor lamellar, embolus triangular.

Female (one of the paratypes): similar to male in coloration and general features, but with a larger body size and shorter legs. Total length 2.20 ( Figs 50A–B). Prosoma 1.00 long, 0.75 wide. Opisthosoma 1.20 long, 0.87 wide. Sternum 0.70 long, 0.55 wide. Clypeus 0.15 high. Leg measurements: I 8.60 (2.50, 0.30, 2.50, 1.90, 1.40); II 7.20 (2.00, 0.30, 2.20, 1.60, 1.10); III 6.25 (1.80, 0.25, 1.70, 1.50, 1.00); IV 7.80 (2.25, 0.30, 2.25, 1.75, 1.25). Internal genitalia ( Figs 50C, 52B) with a pair of spermathecae and sperm ducts, atrium triangle.

Variation. Total length: females 2.10–2.25 (n = 3).
