Edessa helix . Paralectotype female. Same data ( MNKB). Designated by Silva et al. 2017 .

Additional material. BRAZIL, Mato Grosso: 1♀, Rio Caraguata , 16-VII-1950, F. Plauman ( Edessa (Edessa) urotaurus Breddin — Det. J. C. Lutz) ( USNM) . BOLIVIA, Santa Cruz: 1♀, Buena Vista , 1–2-V-2004, Wappes & Cline ( JEE) .

Comments. This species resembles Edessa (E.) helicoceras , but the humeral angle of the former is straight and less slopping frontwards than the later ( Fig. 26 E,F ). Also, ventral side of E. (E.) helix has narrow dark bands on intersegmental area and pseudosutures ( Fig. 26 F ).
