Oculapalochrus ranuensis ( Wittmer, 1990) , comb. n.
Dromanthomorphus ranuensis Wittmer, 1990: 118 , Indonesia: Sulawesi.
Remarks. Head, pronotum and elytra black with bluish metallic tint, antennae black with yellow 1–6 antennomeres, and 4–6 yellow with dark stretched parts; legs black with yellowish anterior tarsi; abdomen black with yellowish apical segments; eyes large, semi-spherical, antennae strongly flabellate from 4th segment, legs simple, lacking appendages or excavations, size 3 mm. The species is close to O. saigonensis (Pic) , but much larger in size. Large eyes, simple legs are good arguments for attribution of this species to the genus Oculapalochrus as well as simple not swollen and lack appendage metathorax which should also be studied.
