Description. Holotype, male ( Fig. 32 View FIGURES 32 – 41 ). Body subparallel, wide and not long, expanded posteriorly.
1–3 antennomeres entirely and 4–6 in part, clypeus, labrum, labium, mandibles, palpi and mouthparts, legs, except posterior femora, anterior and intermediate trochanters in part, apical edge of metathoracic appendage yellow, other body parts black, remaining part of antennae—black-brown; upper surface of head green, pronotum and elytra with blue metallic tint. Surface evenly and densely covered with dual white pubescence—short adpressed and long semi-erect hairs. Vesicles yellow, thoracic mesepimera black.
Head not narrower than pronotum, lacking impression in frons, with several slight depressions on inter-ocular area, eyes slightly protruding, small, round, frons flat; genae short and straight; clypeus narrow, transverse, straight; labrum narrow, transverse; palpi simple with apical segment stout, slightly narrowed apically and cut at apex, weakly securiform; surface of head shining, densely punctured, with smoothed microsculpture, densely covered with light fine long and curved pubescence.
Antennae weakly serrate from 5th to 10th antennomeres ( Fig. 33 View FIGURES 32 – 41 ), 2.0 mm long, reaching the middle of elytra; 1st segment enlarged, clavate, 2nd segment small, round, almost completely hidden by the 1st segment, 3rd–4th segments not wide, triangular, 5th–10th segments wide, triangular, with slightly stretched outer edges, apical segment elongate, thin, subcylindrical; surface evenly covered with short, light pubescence and sparse, erect long light hairs on outer sides of antennomeres.
Pronotum not narrowed apically or basally, transverse, not impressed near base, with straight anterior and posterior margins and evenly rounded lateral sides; surface sparsely and finely punctured, with indistinct microsculpture, shining, evenly covered with fine curved adpressed and semi-erect white hairs.
Scutellum small, rectangular, not transversal, almost completely covered by pronotum, sparsely punctured and covered with white semi-erect pubescence.
Elytra oblong, wide, evenly slightly widened just behind the base and rounded apically, at base a little bit wider than pronotum; humeri distinct, slightly protruding; disc distinctly marginate on external sides and along suture, lateral edge in middle near epipleura slightly flattened and elevated, appearing as a thin longitudinal carina; surface dull, densely punctured, with distinct microsculpture, evenly covered with white pubescence, short, adpressed and elongate semi-erect.
Hind wings normally developed.
Legs not long; posterior femora not reaching elytral apices; anterior tibiae stout and excavate in apical third in internal side ( Fig. 34 View FIGURES 32 – 41 ), intermediate tibiae slightly stout and excavate in apical half of internal side ( Fig. 35 View FIGURES 32 – 41 ), posterior tibiae thin, straight, simple, femora wide, slightly swollen, anterior with small tooth in middle, anterior trochanter simple; all tarsi 5-segmented, slightly widened, short, 2nd segment in anterior tarsi with a comb above; claw-segment somewhat longer than 1st tarsomere in all legs; claws thin, short, narrow and sharp, with small round membrane at base.
Ventral body surface densely punctured, semi-shining, evenly and densely covered with fine, adpressed dark pubescence; metathorax swollen, with short and wide triangular pointed appendage in middle not reaching intermediate coxae, lacking rows of hairs at base of the appendage ( Fig. 36 View FIGURES 32 – 41 ). Pygidium transverse, evenly rounded distally, with specific concave-caliciform apex ( Fig. 37 View FIGURES 32 – 41 ); ultimate abdominal ventrite bilaciniate, narrowed to apex, elongate, with inwardly curved apical lobes possessing curved bunches of hair in tips and rows of long hairs on inner edge of the lobes ( Fig. 38 View FIGURES 32 – 41 ); aedeagus simple, curved ventrally, narrow, endophallus with row of denticles in apical half ( Fig. 39 View FIGURES 32 – 41 ); tegmen short, wide, with thin parameres which 1.1 times longer than base of tegmen ( Fig. 40 View FIGURES 32 – 41 ).
Length 3.1 mm, width (at elytral base) 1.1 mm.
Female unknown.
Distribution. Known only from the type locality, Philippines: Quirino Province ( Fig. 41 View FIGURES 32 – 41 ).
