Diagnosis ( Figures 2m View Figure 2 , 3m View Figure 3 , 4j, 4 ja,b, 5e, 5ea,b)

This species is characterized from congeners by the wing pattern with the postmedial pale grey patch traversed from costal margin to posterior margin. The male genitalia are characterized by the circular uncus, the elongated club-shaped cucullus, the process of saccullus with dense hairs and the heavily sclerotized sacculus. The female genitalia are also characterized by the distinctly developed lamella postvaginalis.

Diehl , gen . slide No . 9318, one male, Sumatra U ., 7 km southeast Parapat , 22 August 1992, 1400 m, J .B. Heppner , & E .W. Diehl ; two females, Sumatra U ., 43 km, southwest P. Siantar (HW4), 1200 m, 24–26 July 1992, J . B. Heppner , gen . slide No . 9303, 9304/S Kim.
