Diagnosis ( Figures 2a View Figure 2 , 3a View Figure 3 , 4a, 4 aa,b)
This species is similar to Promalactis diehli Lvovsky, 2000a in the wing pattern, but it can be easily distinguished by the fore wing without a white medial band. The male genitalia are also close to P. diehli Lvovsky , but it can be distinguished by the shorter and thicker juxta bearing dense hairs caudally, and the cucullus heavily sclerotized and the sacculus with a claviform process.

One male: Indonesia, Sumatra U ., 7 km, southeast Parapat, 1400 m, 30 August 1992, J.B. Heppner & E.W. Diehl, gen. slide no. No. 9351/S. Kim.
Distribution
Indonesia (Sumatra: north, northeastern).
