Diagnosis
Cautires griseus belongs to the group of species with a bright humeral part of the elytra ( Fig. 47 View Figs 41–58 ) and brown pubescence in the disc of the pronotum ( Fig. 27 View Figs 21–38 ). It differs from similarly coloured species in the length of antennal lamellae ( Fig. 9 View Figs 2–20 ) and in the relatively robust, shorter, parallel-sided phallus ( Fig. 65 View Figs 59–78 ).
