Distribution in the US and Canada. AB, BC, ID, ME, MT, OR, UT, WA ( Wood 1982).
Remarks. All previously published records of this species are from western North America. These records represent the first eastern documentation of this species. Determination confirmed by DNA (data not shown). This specimen was previously reported in Appendix 1 of Dodds et al. (2019) but was lacking collection data. The specimens are deposited in the USFS Durham Field Office Forest Insect Collection (DFOC), Durham, NH.
