Distribution: Nearctic and Neotropical ( Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, United States, Uruguay).
Hosts: Agrotis ipsilon (Hufnagel, 1766) ; Helicoverpa armigera (Hübner, 1809) ; Helicoverpa zea (Boddie, 1850) ; Peridroma saucia (Hübner, 1808) ; Pseudaletia unipuncta (Haworth, 1809) ; Spodoptera eridania (Stoll, 1782) ; Spodoptera frugiperda (Smith, 1797) ( Lepidoptera : Noctuidae ). Symmerista leucitys Franclemont, 1946 ( Lepidoptera : Notodontidae ).
Habitat: Dry forest.
Phenology: June, July.
