Material examined. Italy, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Province of Pordenone: Claut, beech forest 680 m, 5/1996– 7/1996, 1Ψ; 7/1996–9/1996, 1ɗ, P. Pantini and M. Valle legerunt (pitfall traps). Veneto, Province of Treviso: Susegana, loc. Costa Buona, Grotta del Tubo Catodico (VTV5681), 30/3/2002, 1Ψ, V. Forte and S. Vanin legerunt; Susegana, loc. Costa Buona, L'Amona (VTV6282), 155 m, 7/12/2002, 1ɗ, 1/9/2002, 1ɗ, V. Forte and S. Vanin legerunt.

Note. We provide new data for this species in Friuli Venezia Giulia and Veneto. T. fagei was previously known for a few epigean and hypogean localities in Veneto ( Roewer, 1931; Brignoli, 1971, 1975; Pesarini, 2001; Marcuzzi, 2003), Friuli Venezia Giulia ( Deeleman-Reinhold, 1978; Pesarini, 2001) and Trentino Alto Adige ( Thaler, 1967). Gasparo (1997 sub “ T. cfr. fagei ”) reports several hypogean doubtful records in Friuli Venezia Giulia that are probably referring to this species. T. fagei is also known for the Austrian Alps ( Thaler, 1967).
