Distribution. USA.

Hosts. Blarina brevicauda , Cryptotis parva , and Sorex cinereus . Other hosts. Rodentia : Microtus pennsylvanicus ( Traub, 1944; Hopkins & Rothschild, 1966; Whitaker, 1974; Benton & Kelly, 1975; Benton, 1980; Whitaker, 2004).
