Distribution: INDIA: Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Puducherry, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal. Elsewhere: Myanmar, Pakistan, Senegal, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Thailand, Uganda, Zimbabwe.

Remarks: Although the species is widespread, this forms its first record from Karnataka.
