Longistylus n. gen.
( Figs. 1–18 View FIGURES 1 – 3 View FIGURES 4 – 10 View FIGURES 11 – 18 )
Typespecies: L. ygapema n. sp.
Diagnosis. Longistylus n. gen. resembles Teyl Main by the very long, styliform embolus of the male palpal bulb, but differs by the reflexed embolus at least twice as long as the palpal tibia ( Figs. 1–3 View FIGURES 1 – 3 ) (in Teyl never longer than tibia), and by the pseudosegmented tarsi ( Figs. 13–15 View FIGURES 11 – 18 ). It is distinguished from the ramaining Anaminae genera by the triangular apical segment of PLS ( Fig. 7 View FIGURES 4 – 10 ) and by the absence of megaspine on male tibia I and II ( Fig. 12 View FIGURES 11 – 18 ).
Etymology. The generic name refers to the very long embolus of the male palp (from the Latin: long + stylus, pointed tip). Gender is male.
