D i a g n o s i s: Cranium and pronotum black, except pronotal collar flavotestaceous; elytron mostly flavotestaceous, with transverse black macula.
D e s c r i p t i o n: Size: Length 8.0 mm; width 1.8 mm. Form: As in Fig. 10 View Figs 9-12 . Head: Antenna slightly longer than width across eyes; capitulum slightly acuminate; (EW/FW 30/80). Thorax: Pronotal and elytral discs finely punctate: (PL/PW 130/130); (EL/EW 320/100). Abdomen: Aedeagus (Fig. 70).
E t y m o l o g y: The species name, chagra, constitutes a noun in apposition and refers to the type locality.
