T y p e m a t e r i a l: Holotype: ♁. Type locality: Bolivia, Beni, 15-20 km east Rurrenabaque , 13- 18/X/2004, Morris & Wappes ( FSCA).
D i a g n o s i s: Antenna bicolorous; cranium black; pronotum part black and part red; elytra mostly flavotestacous, with some pink regions, also each elytron with black fasciae; legs flavotestacous.
D e s c r i p t i o n: Size: Length 5.0 mm; width 1.3 mm. Form: As in Fig. 40 View Figs 37-40 . Head: (EW/FW 20/50). Thorax: Elytral asetiferous punctures small; (PL/PW 90/90); (EL/EW 220/65). Abdomen: Aedeagus (Fig. 92).
E t y m o l o g y: The species name, morrisi, honors Roy F. Morris for his contributions to Systematic Entomology.
