Genus Ampulicomorpha Ashmead, 1893 *
Type species. Ampulicomorpha confusa Ashmead, 1893 : holotype, female— California, USA (USNM).
Distribution. All the zoogeographical regions, except Antarctica ( Olmi 1996, 1997; Chény et al. 2020).
World species. 24 species ( Olmi et al. 2020).
Host. Ectoparasitoids of nymphs of Achilidae View in CoL ( Hemiptera View in CoL : Auchenorrhyncha, Fulgoromorpha) living in rotten logs and feeding on fungus ( Olmi et al. 2014).
Note. Here, the genus is recorded for the first time from the Middle East, Iran (marked with an Asterisk).
