Etyeorictis picrasmae Kumata & Kuroko, 1988a: 28–30 View in CoL . TL: Hokkaido, Japan. TD: EIHU (Holotype).
Redescription. Adult ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 1–3 ). Wingspan 8.5 mm.
Head silvery white and smooth; maxillary palpus white with two tiny grayish brown spots near subbasal and apical parts respectively; labial palpus slightly rough and white mixed with goldish brown or ochreous scales on the first segment; antenna dark ochreous; scape dark gray with a narrow white area apically. Thorax white with some areas of gray-ochreous in middle part; legs white; fore coxa white and pale ochreous laterally; mid femur fuscous except for apical part; mid tibia with a blackish brown band on ventral and dorsal sides, white laterally; a blackish brown ring present at apical part; mid tarsus with a tiny fuscous spot near apical spur, three fuscous rings narrowing to apex; claw pale fuscous; hind femur silvery white with a tiny spot ventrally; hind tibia with a fuscous ring on subapical part; hind tarsus with four rings ventrally, among them, the median rings of same in length and width; the first and the forth rings almost same in width.
Forewing ground color dark goldish ochreous with a white longitudinal streak; a white longitudinal streak running from basal part to 3/4 of forewing; an oblique white stria with black edge runs to tornus; it is extended to 2/3 of dorsal margin; two white spots on opposite sides: one at costal and the second one at tornal margin; a black stria is curved along apex inwards; apex more goldish than other areas of the forewing; cilia at tornus white, black at apex with a blackish narrow line. Hindwing dark gray and lanceolate.
Male genitalia. Unknown.
Female genitalia (Fig. 8). Papilae anales short, sclerotized with long setae on apex; apophyses posteriores as long as apophyses anteriores or shorter. Ostium bursae small in diameter and rapidly narrowed below antrum; antrum slender, sclerotized and divided into two parts. Ductus bursae membranous, as long as corpus bursae and swollen near antrum. Corpus bursae slender, long and covered with many of micro-spines on caudal half; no signum.
Material examined. [ Korea]: [GG] 1♀, Mt. Cheonggye , 14 vi 2012 (leg. Ahn & Kim), gen. slide no. HNUSEL- 5511-coll. HNU .
Distribution. Korea (new record), Japan.
Host plants. Picrasma quassioides (D. Don) Benn. [ Simaroubaceae ] in Japan ( Kumata et al. 1988a; De Prins & De Prins 2006 -2021).
