Distribution: — BOLIVIA: Santa Cruz, Chuquisaca. Margins of degraded moist Tucuman-Boliaviano forest; 1600– 2600 m elev. Endemic.
Representative specimens examined: — BOLIVIA. Santa Cruz: by the road from Samaipata to the radio/TV transmitter, 1600 m elev., 17 February 1995 (fl), J.R.I. Wood 9415 (K, LPB). Chuquisaca: Belisario Boeto, 3–4 km E de Pampas del Tigre, 2025 m elev., 19°05’44”S, 64°10’49”W, 3 March 2006 (fl), J.R.I. Wood 22378 (K, LPB).
