Material examined. Seven females from Jilnal-nup swamp, Haman (35°19′15″N, 128°20′56″E) (locality 13 on Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 ), 27 July 2010. One female from Upo-nup swamp (Jjokjibeol), Changnyeong (35°32′53″N, 128°24′0 9″E) (locality 11 on Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 ), 27 July 2010. Ten females from the lower reaches of the Hyeongsan River, Yangdong, Gyeongju (35°59′16″N, 129°15′21″E) (locality 8 on Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 ), 10 October 2010. Seven females from a large pond at Pyeongsa-ri, Jillyang-eup, Gyeongsan-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do (35º5354″N, 128º51′22.8″E) (locality 10 on Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 ), 8 June 2011.
Remarks. This widespread Asian species is a new record for Korea. It has previously been reported from irrigation ponds, rivers, lakes and swamps in China, Sri Lanka, Celebes, India, Burma, Japan and Thailand ( Sars 1903; Gurney 1916; Tressler 1937; Forro et al. 1987; Okubo 1990b; Savatenalinton & Martens 2010). Males have only been reported from Thailand ( Savatenalinton & Martens 2010).
