Diagnosis. As in generic diagnosis.
Description. Male (IBSP 119297). Total length 3.6. Carapace 2.1 long, 1.85 wide. Clypeus 0.1 high. Eye diameter: AME 0.12 ALE 0.08. PLE 0.16. PME 0.16. Leg measurements: I: femur 2.2/ patella 0.8/ tibia 2.1/ metatarsi 2.2/ tarsi 1.1/ total 8.4; II: 2.2/ 0.8/ 1.9/ 2.1/ 1.0/ 8.0; III: 2.2/ 0.8/ 1.75/ 2.4/ 1.0/ 8.15; IV: 2.7/ 0.8/ 2.5/ 3.4/ 1.3/ 10.7. Leg formula 4132. Leg spination: tibia I v2-2 -2-2-2, p1, r1-1, II v2-2 -2-2-2, p1-1-1-1 (plus numerous small spines; figs 3B, 5D), r1-1-1-1-1, III v2-2 -2, p1-1-1, r1-1, IV v2-2 -2, p1-1, r1-1; metatarsi I-II v2-2 -2, p1-1-1, r1-1-1, III v2-2 -2, p1-1-1, r1-1-1, IV v2-1 -1-1-2, p1-1-1, r1-1-1. Palp as in generic description.
Female (IBSP 119324). Total length 4.5. Carapace 2.0 long, 1.7 wide. Clypeus 0.12 high. Eye diameter: AME 0.1 ALE 0.08. PLE 0.16. PME 0.16. Leg measurements: I: femur 1.7/ patella 0.6/ tibia 1.6/ metatarsi 1.4/ tarsi 0.6/ total 5.9; II: 1.7/ 0.6/ 1.4/ 1.4/ 0.7/ 5.8; III: 1.7/ 0.6/ 1.1/ 1.4/ 0.7/ 5.5; IV: 1.95/ 0.6/ 1.7/ 2.15/ 1.1/ 7.5. Leg formula: 4123. Leg spination: tibia I–II v2-2 -2-2-2, p0, r0, III v1 p-2-2, p1-1, r1-1, IV v1 p-1p-2, p1-1, r1-1; metatarsi I-II v2-2 -2, p0, r0, III v1 r-2-2, p1-1-1, r1-1-1, IV v2-2 -2, p1-1-1, r1-1-1. Epigyne as in generic description.
Variation. 10 males: total length 3.7–3.9; carapace 2.1–2.4; femur I 2.1–2.3; 10 females: total length 4.2–4.6; carapace 2.0–2.2; femur I 1.7–1.9.

D. Brescovit et al.; 4 males, 18 females, 2000, F. Dias ( IBSP 119273–119294); 9 males, 26 females, X/1999 – IX/2002, M.F. Dias ( IBSP 119295–119325).
Natural History. The specimens listed above were collected by hand and pitfall trap in the leaf litter of a cocoa plantation. They are nocturnal and fast running spiders.
Distribution. South of the State of Bahia, Brazil ( Fig. 16 View FIGURE 16 B).
