Ctenus isolatus Bryant 1940: 382 , fig. 163 (female holotype from Havana, Ciudad de La Habana, Cuba, Barbour, deposited in MCZ 21710; two female paratypes from Havana, Cuba, Cervera, deposited in MCZ 26255, examined).
Diagnosis. Females of Ohvida isolata resemble those of O. brevitarsus by the large median plate, but can be distinguished by the elongated anterior area of the median plate and the distance of the elevated areas of median plate ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 A).
Description. Male. Unknown.
Female (holotype). Total length 18.20. Carapace 8.70 long, 6.60 wide. Clypeus 0.30 high. Eye diameter: AME 0.26, ALE 0.24, PME 0.36, PLE 0.34. Leg measurements: I: femur 7.10/ patella 3.50/ tibia 6.60/ metatarsus 5.40/ tarsus 2.00/ total 24.60; II: 6.60/ 2.90/ 5.80/ 5.10/ 2.00/ 22.40; III: 6.00/ 2.80/ 4.60/ 5.00/ 1.90/ 20.30; IV: 7.60/ 3.20/ 6.60/ 8.10/ 2.50/ 28.00. Leg spination: tibia I and II v2-2 -2-2-2, r0, p0, III and IV v2-2 -2, r1-1, p1-1; metatarsus I, II v2-2 -2, r0, p0; III v2-2 -2, r1-1-1, p-1-1-1, IV v1-1 -1-1-1-2, r1-1-1, p1-1-1. Epigyne: head of spermathecae projected dorsally ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 B).
Variation. 7 females: total length 9.70–18.20, carapace 4.60–8.70, femur I 3.50–7.10.
