Host records. Rhagoletis sp. ( Diptera : Tephritidae ) (Ghahari and Fischer 2011). Yu et al. (2012) reported the following tephritid species ( Diptera ) as hosts for this species: Anomoia purmunda (Harris, 1780) , Carpomya schineri (Loew, 1856) , Rhagoletis laternata (Fallen, 1820) , R. berberis Curran, 1932 , R. cerasi (L., 1758), R. meigenii (Loew, 1844) and Trypeta spp. In Europe, it has been reared from Rhagoletis infesting cherries, Berberis , Rosa and Anomoia purmunda (Harris, 1780) infesting Crataegus (Hoffmeister 1992; Yu et al. 2012).
