Czech Republic, Kazakhstan, Netherlands, Slovakia ( Yu et al. 2012), Estonia, Finland ( Fischer & Koponen 1999, 2000, 2009; Yu et al. 2012), Denmark, Hungary ( Fischer and Koponen 1999; Yu et al. 2012), Russia ( Fischer and Koponen 1999), Sweden ( Thomson 1895; Fischer and Koponen 1999; Yu et al. 2012), Turkey (Beyarslan and Fischer 2011, 2013; Yu et al. 2012).

Host records. In Finland, it is reared from Phytomyza similis Briscke, 1880 ( Fischer and Koponen 1999, Yu et al. 2012).
