Host records. In Finland, it is reported from the following tephritid ( Diptera ): Carpomyia incompleta (Becker, 1903) on Zizyphus sativa L., Ceratitis capitata (Wiedemann, 1824) , Bactrocera oleae (Gmelin, 1790) on Olea europea L., Euphranta connexa (Fabricius, 1794) on Cynachum vincetoxicum L. ( Fischer and Koponen 1999). It is introduced in several countries for controlling several tephritid species: in Puerto Rico against Anastrpha suspensa (Loew, 1862) and A. obliqua (Macquart, 1835) ( Muesebeck 1931) ; in Costa Rica against Ceratitis capitata (Wiedemann, 1824) ( Wharton et al. 1981) ; El Salvador against C. capitata (Wiedemann, 1824) ( Hentze et al. 1993; Wharton et al. 1981); in Florida ( USA) against Anastrepha suspensa (Loew, 1862) ( Baranowski et al. 1993) . In South Africa, it is reared from Bactrocera oleae (Gmelin, 1790) ( Diptera : Tephritidae ) ( Mkize et al. 2008).
