Holotype 3, Madagascar, Mandraka ( MNHN). Holotype by original designation and monotypy. Labels. Coll. Mus. Congo / Madagascar: Mandraka / II–1944 / A. Seyrig; Leptacis 3/ seyrigi n. sp. / L. Masner det., 1959; holotypus [holotype 3].
Remarks. The holotype is card-pointed, the head is broken off and mounted on the same point, the two hind tarsi are mostly missing and the right fore wing is chipped at the apex.
