Platygaster mandrakae Risbec, 1955b: 111 , fig. 1b.
Current status. Platygaster mandrakae
Syntypes ‘3 ƤƤ’ = Ƥ; 2 3, Madagascar, Mandraka (MNHN).
Labels. G. 286/ en feuilles Maleni/ ravina/ Platygaster / mandrakae / Risbec [syntypes Ƥ; 2 3].
Remarks. The three syntypes are dry-mounted together on one slide; the cover slip is ringed with a clear soft resin. Risbec describes them as female, but Risbec’s figure of the antenna is clearly from a male and two of the syntypes are actually males. The head of the female is missing and the heads of both males are broken off but still present, one of them has one antenna missing.
