Diagnosis. Larva. Dorsal plate broad and bearing four pairs of setae: two pairs simple of setae (Fch, Vi) and two pairs of trichobothria (Fp, Oi); setae Vi are the longest, both pairs of trichobothria short and thin; coxal plates I free or partly fused with coxal plates II+III, suture lines between coxal plates II+III obliterated except laterally; coxal plates I with two setae each (C1, C2); coxal plates II with one single seta (C3); coxal plates III bearing three setae each (C4 anteriorly, Pi posteromedially and Pe posterolaterally); urstigma lateral to the border between coxal plates I and II; excretory pore plate bearing two pairs of setae (Ai, Ae); ten pairs of setae (Oe, Hi, He, Sci, Sce, Li, Le, Si, Se and Ci) located in the soft membranous integument; total number of leg setae, excluding eupathidia, as follows (specialized setae given in parentheses): I–Leg-1–5: 1, 7, 5 (s), 10 (2s), 15 (s, ac); II–Leg-1–5: 1, 7, 5 (s), 11 (2s), 15 (s, ac); III–Leg-1–5: 1, 6, 5 (s), 10 (s), 11–12 (0-1ac).
