Material and dimensions.—See Table 2.

Description.—The general shape is kidney−like. The margins are straight or slightly rounded. The anteromedial edge is rounded but clearly visible. In contrast, the posteromedial edge is weakly pronounced ( Fig. 13B, C View Fig ) or nearly absent ( Fig. 13A View Fig 1 View Fig , F). The anterolateral edge is well developed and slightly pointed. This is also the case for the posterolateral edge that forms the posterior tip of the lapillus.
