Comments. This is a well-known parasitoid of aphids ( Hemiptera : Aphidoidea), and has been dealt with by several authors ( Mercet 1921; De Santis 1964; Hayat 2006, to cite only three references). A few figures are given here to aid in its recognition ( Figs 130–132 View FIGURES 130 – 132 ).
Syrphophagus aphidivorus is a widely distributed species, and is newly recorded from Saudi Arabia .
