Material examined. KSA: Al-Qassim: Unaizah, 30.v.2013 (35F) Coll. F.R. Khan (1 ♀, 1 ♂, on slides, EH.1682 and EH.1683) ( ZDAMU).
Comments. The female is similar to C. fulviventris Foerster. Based on the key characters given by Hoffer (1980) and Trjapitzin (1989), and a British specimen in ZDAMU determined as C. fulviventris by Noyes, the Saudi Arabian specimen differs in having the marginal vein 1.5× (left wing) and 1.25× (right wing) as long as the stigmal vein; and legs, excluding pale brown coxae, yellow to pale yellow. In C. fulviventris , the marginal vein is at most slightly longer than the stigmal vein, and legs, apart from dark brown coxae, with fore and mid femora largely dark brown, hind femur brownish yellow, and mid tibia basally brownish. These differences in the Saudi Arabian specimen may eventually prove to be variable when more specimens are available. Prinsloo (1979a) also noted variation in leg colour, colour of pedicel, and dimensions of the funicle segments in specimens of C. fulviventris from South Africa and Zimbabwe.
