COMMENTS—this is the second record this rust species for science. Dianese et al. (1994) reported urediniospores with 1–2 germ pores in M. ventura . The specimen analyzed in this study clearly showed 3-4 equatorial germ pores although the host species is same that original description and all its other morphological features analyzed agree with the type description.
