Genus Pseudochromadora Daday, 1899 View in CoL
Diagnosis. (after Verschelde et al. 2006, slightly emended). Cuticle finely annulated. Lateral alae extending from posterior pharynx end to the tail. The annuli split up and interdigitate at the level of the lateral alae. Somatic setae numerous, arranged in six longitudinal rows. Labial and cephalic sensillae in the shape of thin and short setae. Cephalic capsule well developed. Amphidial fovea placed centrally on the cephalic capsule. Buccal cavity narrow with teeth. Pharynx with rounded terminal bulb. Males have copulatory thorns and postcloacal thorns. Arched spicules; gubernaculum without dorsal apophysis.
Type species: Pseudochromadora cazca Gerlach, 1956 .
