Selenaspidus articulatus (Morgan) View in CoL — rufous scale

Occurs widely in tropical and subtropical areas of the Americas, Africa, Asia, Australia and the Pacific; polyphagous, feeding on plants belonging to 50 families; a pest of citrus and other crops. Recorded from Saint Lucia by CABI (1981b) and Malumphy (2012, on Citrus aurantifolia fruit).

Collection data. Intercepted in the UK (London) on Annona muricata , 12.xi.2012 and 23.ix.2013, leg. R. Waghorn (in association with Eupalopsellidae predatory mites) .
