Ceroplastes floridensis Comstock View in CoL — Florida wax scale
Occurs widely in tropical and subtropical areas of the Americas (including the Lesser Antilles), Africa, Asia, Australia and the Pacific, isolated records from southern Europe; polyphagous, feeding on plants belonging to 70 families; a major pest of citrus and many ornamental plants. Recorded from Saint Lucia by CABI (2010) and Malumphy (2012, on Schefflera ( Araliaceae )).
