Aspidiotus excisus Green View in CoL — Aglaonema scale or cyanotic scale

Occurs widely in tropical and subtropical areas of the Americas (including the Lesser Antilles), Asia and the Pacific; polyphagous, feeding on plants belonging to 19 families; a pest of woody ornamental plants. Recorded from Saint Lucia by Malumphy (2012, on Aglaonema crispum ( Araceae )).
