Diagnosis. Both sexes can be separated from other Oztira spp.   by the short tarsal rod which has a distinct flap like opening ( Figs 6a,e–f View Fig ). Males can also be separated from other Oztira spp.   by the palpal trochanter having twin stridulatory spines and by the form of the MA and RTA ( Fig. 9a–b View Fig ); females by the epigynum being without lateral teeth and the sclerotized gonopore openings being close together but separate ( Fig. 9c–d View Fig ).
