( Figs 167-171)
DIAGNOSIS. Female (overall length about 0.9mm): scape mostly brown; pedicel brown, flagellum pale brown; coxae white; fore femur and tibia very pale orange; mid femur white with apical half brown; mid tibia white; hind femur mostly dark brown; hind tibia mostly pale brown; gaster dark brown; frontovertex about half head width; antenna ( Fig. 167) with scape about 2.6X as long as broad, funicle with F1 narrower than pedicel, F1-F5 subequal, small, F5-F6 larger, longer than broad; linear sensilla only on F5-F6; clava very slightly longer than F3-F6 combined, nearly 4X as long as broad; palp formula 2-2; scutellum ( Fig. 170) with 4 pairs of setae and polygonally reticulate to longitudinally elongate striate-reticulate sculpture, deeper than that on mesoscutum; mid basitarsus with 3 ventral pegs; mid tibial spur about as long as basitarsus; fore wing ( Fig. 169) with stigmal vein ( Fig. 168) about as long as postmarginal vein and marginal veins; hypopygium reaching about 0.8X towards apex of gaster; ovipositor nearly 4X as long as gonostylus and not exserted. Male: unknown.
Female (holotype): length, 0.92mm ( CPD) .
Head dark brown to black, generally with a weak coppery to coppery purple sheen mixed metallic dark green in ocellar area; frontovertex with a few, conspicuous, scattered, elongate, brown setae; gena and interantennal prominence with a few scattered, inconspicuous, shorter brown setae; maxillary palpus white; radicle brown; scape brown, slightly paler towards apex; pedicel brown, slightly paler towards apex; flagellum pale brown; thorax dark brown to black with a weak metallic lustre; pronotum with a weak coppery sheen; mesoscutum with a weak brassy and coppery purple sheen; tegula dark purple-brown with a weak sheen; axilla dark purple-brown with a weak sheen; scutellum dorsally virtually matt with a weak coppery purple sheen, apex and side slightly silky in appearance with a weak coppery purple and brassy sheen; mesopleuron with a moderate purple sheen; coxae white; fore femur, tibia and tarsus very pale orange; mid femur white in proximal 0.5X, distally brown with extreme apex white, mid tibia white to very pale yellow, spur very pale yellow, tarsus very pale yellow; hind femur with proximal 0.3X white, distally dark brown, tibia pale brown, extreme base dusky white, tarsus dusky pale orange; wings hyaline, fore wing ( Fig. 169) with a small, weakly infuscate area below marginal vein; propodeum dark brown with a weak purple sheen; gaster dark brown; gonostylus pale brown.
Head ( Fig. 171) about 2.1X as wide as frontovertex, in profile about 1.9X as high as deep, tangent to frontovertex forming an angle of about 105° with that of face; occipital margin sharp, not carinate; no distinct oval depression adjacent to eye near occipital margin; ocelli forming an angle of about 95°; frontovertex not wider in front of anterior ocellus, with distinct, polygonally reticulate sculpture of mesh size generally subequal to eye facet, not shallower above top of scrobes; temple and gena with much shallower, hardly elongate, fine polygonally reticulate sculpture; top of scrobes with shallow, regular, polygonally reticulate sculpture, scrobes smooth; interantennal prominence and mouth margin with slightly shallower, polygonally reticulate sculpture; scrobes shallow, indistinctly margined, broadly ∩-shaped; interantennal prominence dorsally rounded; antenna as in Fig. 167; scape broadened and flattened, about 2.6X as long as broad; funicle with F1-F4 subequal, relatively small, subquadrate, F5 larger, slightly longer than broad, F6 largest and clearly longer than broad, linear sensilla present only on F5-F6; clava about 3.7X as long as broad and about 1.3X as wide as F6, not curved downwards towards apex, a little longer than F3-F6 combined, sutures parallel, sensory area small, at apex only giving it a pointed or narrowly rounded appearance; eye slightly overreaching occipital margin, clothed with conspicuous setae, each about as long as diameter of facet; malar sulcus present, but very indistinct; clypeal margin clearly concave; mandible more or less tridentate with two acute teeth and third, upper, shorter obtuse tooth; palp formula 2-2. Relative measurements: HW 53.5, HH 40, FV 26, POL 12, OOL 3.5, OCL 1.5, AOL 7, EL 29.5, EW 23.5, MS 13, SL 18, SW 7.
Thorax ( Fig. 170) with pronotum hardly exposed behind head, its posterior margin broadly concave, not angular medially; pronotum and mesoscutum with similar sculpture to that in ocellar area, but of smaller mesh; axilla with shallower sculpture than mesoscutum; scutellum dorsally with very fine, polygonally reticulate sculpture that is very slightly deeper than sculpture on mesoscutum, and of much smaller mesh, sculpture slightly longitudinally elongate towards side, extreme side and apex completely smooth and shiny; visible part of mesoscutum about 1.8X as broad as long; scutellum about 1.2X as broad as long, apex with a pair of slender, elongate setae; hind femur about 4.2X as long as broad; mid basitarsus with 3 ventral pegs; mid tibial spur about as long as basitarsus; fore wing with venation and setation as in Figs 168, 169; propodeum ( Fig. 170) medially about 0.09X as long as scutellum. Relative measurements: FWL 80, FWW 36; HWL 51.5, HWW 11.5.
Gaster with hypopygium reaching about 0.8X to apex; last tergite about 0.6X as long as mid tibia, with apex rounded; ovipositor not exserted. Relative measurements: OL 36.5, GL 9.5 [MT 52].
