Distribution. Western Atlantic—from USA (New Jersey), Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea, Brazil (Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo) ( Coelho & Ramos-Porto 1987; Rieger 1998; Melo 1999; Felder et al. 2009; Nucci & Melo 2011).

Remarks.
