This rarely seen eucnemid species was known from Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and West Virginia ( Muona 2000; Otto 2012). New state records include Florida, Ohio and Texas. Specimens were taken from Malaise traps, netted in flight over a dead windfall, Lindgren funnel traps and flight intercept traps.
