In Canada, this uncommonly collected eucnemid species was taken in Ontario. In the United States, T. horni was known from Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Mississippi, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin ( Muona 2000; Otto 2011a). New records reported here include Michigan, Missouri and North Carolina. Specimens were taken from a rotary trap and Lindgren funnel traps.
