Isarthrus calceatus (Say, 1836)
In Canada, this uncommonly seen eucnemid species was taken in Ontario and Québec. In the United States, I. calceatus was previously recorded in Arkansas, District of Columbia, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Vermont and Wisconsin ( Muona 2000). New records reported here include Maryland, New Jersey, Oklahoma and Rhode Island. Specimens was taken from Lindgren funnel traps and a intercept panel trap. In Canada, this eucnemid species was taken in Ontario. In the United States, I. rufipes were found in Alabama, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, Wisconsin ( Muona 2000) and newly recorded in Iowa and Maine. One of the specimen was taken from a Lindgren funnel trap.
