This rarely seen eucnemid species was previously known from Alabama, Florida, Indiana, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, Wisconsin ( Muona 2000) and is reported here for the first time in Ohio and Rhode Island. Specimens were taken from Lindgren funnel traps with EtOH lure, mixed upland hardwoods and eastern white pine forest, and mixed upland hardwoods forests.
