Family Carpiliidae View in CoL

The male gonopore is coxal in Carpilius Desmarest, 1823 , and located on the anterior margin of the P5 coxa (over which a narrow sternite 7 extends), close to the prominent, round coxo-sternal condyle. The penis is relatively small ( Guinot 1979a: 202, fig. 47D). See Monophyletic Heterotremata: Superfamily Carpilioidea .
