Diagnosis. This species is similar to G. longqiensis Song, 1993 , but can be distinguished by the valva obviously incurved at distal one fourth and the phallus distally with three small dentations in the male genitalia; the lamella postvaginalis well-developed in the female genitalia. In G. longqiensis , the distal part of valva is nearly straight and the phallus is not dentate; the lamella vaginalis is absent.

Description. Adult ( Fig. 7 View FIGURES 2 – 10 ). Forewing length 5.0–6.0 mm. Frons and vertex pale brown mixed with white. Labial palpus orange yellow mixed with pale brown, third segment pale brown distally. Maxillary palpus yellowish white, tip mixed with pale brown. Antenna with dorsal surface yellowish white and pale brown alternately, ventral surface pale yellow ciliated white. Patagium white mixed with pale brown. Tegula covered with white scales, some scales tipped pale brown. Thorax white mixed with pale brown. Forewing sparsely covered with pale brown scales; antemedian line white, sinuate, conspicuously incurved at posterior one fourth; reniform stigma yellowish white to pale yellow, edged with blackish brown, gourd-shaped; postmedian line white, dentate, arched outward; apex orange yellow, with a longitudinal silvery gray stripe; termen pale brown mixed with orange yellow, with three black marginal spots posteriorly; fringe pale brown mixed with pale yellow, white at base of apex. Hindwing white in male, sparsely covered with pale brown scales along veins, apex and termen; hindwing pale brown in female; fringe white to grayish, with pale brown subbasal line, fringe pale brown around apex except white basally. Abdomen with three basal segments and two segments anterior to pale yellow genital segment white, remaining median segments blackish brown.

Male genitalia ( Fig. 16 View FIGURES 11 – 16 ). Uncus slender, narrowed to blunt apex. Gnathos slightly longer than uncus, distal two fifths armed with tiny dentations, apex bluntly rounded. Valva with basal three fourths narrowed gradually, concave ventromedially, distal one fourth incurved conspicuously, swollen slightly before apex, apex with a small spine pointing outward. Costa with long and thin basal prong about one third length of valva, curved distally. Juxta with posterior one third concave conspicuously, forming a pair of spinelike lateral lobes. Phallus nearly as long as valva, with three small dentations distally.

Female genitalia ( Fig. 23 View FIGURES 23 – 25 ). Papilla analis ovate, about one third length of apophysis posterioris. Tergite eight about two thirds as long as apophysis anterioris. Lamella postvaginalis roughly trapezoidal, rounded posteriorly, concave inward anteriorly near lateral margin. Antrum wider than ductus bursae. Ductus bursae long and thin, straight, slightly swollen towards corpus bursae anteriorly. Ductus seminalis arising from anterior part of ductus bursae. Corpus bursae rounded; signum rounded, placed at posterior one third of corpus bursae.

Distribution. China (Guizhou, Hubei, Yunnan, Zhejiang).

Etymology. The specific name is derived from the Latin tridentatus = tridentate, in reference to the phallus with three distal dentations in the male genitalia.
