Holotype larva (ARS-20100224-2, slide code in the original description: N-10H), IRAN, VARAMIN, Coll. Jafar-Sadegh Karimi-Iravanlou. AVAILABLE.
Note. In the original description, it was stated that the holotype is deposited in Acarological Collection , Department of Entomology , Faculty of Agriculture , Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran, Iran. It was transferred into the JAZM by permission during the definition of the genus Achaemenothrombium in 2010 .
