Bruelia saghirae Ansari, 1955f: 55 , figs 4a–e.
Current status: Guimaraesiella (Guimaraesiella) saghirae ( Ansari, 1955f) ; Gustafsson & Bush 2017: 222, 352, 358, 397, 426; Gustafsson et al. 2019b: 453.
Type host: Turdus serranus fuscobrunneus (Chapman) .
Type locality: Ventanas , Valdivia, Colombia [as Columbia] .
Type material: Holotype male [slide 56541] deposited in the USNM from the Carriker collection. Gustafsson &
Bush (2017: 426) listed eight paratypes (two males and six females) as deposited in the USNM, but Ansari (1955f: 56) only designated three paratypes (one male and two females). Therefore, at least five of the paratypes listed by Gustafsson & Bush (2017: 426) are not types.
