TYPE LOCALITY: U.S. S. R., Kazakhstan, between Caspian Sea and Irtysh River .
DISTRIBUTION: S. European Russia from Don River through Kazakhstan to Irtysh River, south to N.E. Iran; S. Mongolia and adjacent Inner Mongolia; Sinkiang and Ningsiahui ( China).
COMMENT: Includes acontion and pygmaeus; Corbet, 1978: 156, concluded that pygmaeus is invalid and that acontion is a junior synonym of pumilio .
